After being away, we wanted to spend a lot of time as a family this weekend. We went to a kite festival, had friends to play, hosted a sleep over and went to the Great Escape. Busy weekend! It isn't often that we fill our weekends quite so full- now we need a weekend to recover from the weekend!

Water Park!
We haven't been to the Great Escape much this summer. The kids have been begging to visit the water park, and today was the day!

And Amusement Parks?
Seriously, I don't know how many times I can write, "first time since the pandemic," but here we are again. First time... back to the Great Escape! With social distancing rules in effect, sanitization measures, and capacity limits, we are feeling safe being outside doing something fun! Being back at the Great Escape did not disappoint. Especially for the grown ups, since MiniM.E. is finally tall enough to be our accompanying 54" or taller person for the boys.
