We were so thrilled to be able to spend Easter with family this year. It was a fantastic day of baskets, online church, egg hunt and a delicious dinner.

New Belts, Just in Time for New Belts
Today the girls went back to in-person Taekwondo for the first time since summer. They attended a virtual evaluation in December and both earned their new belts, but since we haven’t been to class since then, they just received them today, ceremony and all, with two weeks until the next evaluation!

Seder Dinner and Easter Preparation
In the early days of our COVID quarantine, when we were seeing absolutely zero people and also thought it was going to last... maybe a month or two... we needed some fun activities to look forward to on the weekend and planned our first annual Christian Seder Dinner. It was very memorable for the girls and a great way to make Easter about Jesus. The girls really wanted to do it again. Saturday we had our second Mulfinger Seder dinner. This time Gram and Grumpy were able to come. I would say it was even better than last year! Now we are all looking forward to Easter. We made time today to dye some eggs and we will all head to NH on Friday to celebrate with Gram and Grumpy and Auntie Jen.

Driving and the Dairy Haus
We promised SlimJim we would take the power wheels out when the snow melted, and when we finally got it down and charged up it was like Christmas morning... until Mr.T. wanted to be the “driver” too. After the initial tantrum, SlimJim drove, let Mr.T. steer while he did the “gas” and then had another turn to drive. I don’t think this is the last of our power wheels debacles .
Another exciting event for our week, the Dairy Haus has been open for a couple weeks but we haven’t been yet. Gram is here, which is a perfect excuse for a treat, so we took our first trip of the year to the Dairy Haus! Much improved over our Dairy Haus trips last year, when it was drive up and take away and we had to find another place to eat.

What a Change
A week makes! Last week the kids were out in giant puddles surrounded by snow, and this week they are out in shorts (and this time, they aren’t the only ones!).
