The Celebration Continues

We had a mini party for BabySlimJim yesterday with our closest family friends.

One of the other moms kindly made a fantastic BabySlimJim-friendly cake:

Present time was a bit trying as we were getting dangerously close to bedtime...

It was nice to have a little celebration for our little guy. Happy Birthday one more time BabySlimJim!

Spending All the Time Outside

We are loving the beautiful weather and are trying to spend as much time outside as possible.

You are the happiest baby I've ever met and you bring so much joy and silliness to our lives every day. Whether you are chasing the vacuum, unrolling the toilet paper, emptying the trash or stealthily climbing the stairs you keep us on our toes. Your "whole face" smile is contagious and your giggles are irresistible. Happy First Birthday, Little Guy. I can't wait to watch you grow!

We opened the present from MeaMaw and Grandpa super early this morning.

To celebrate later in the day we went to the mall because BabySlimJim loves the play area there and even though the girls, especially MiniM.E. should have outgrown it, they always have a good time too.

While we were at the mall we stopped at Healthy Living for a gluten free, dairy free, egg free cupcake so we could sing Happy Birthday on BabySlimJim's real birthday.

A Post Music Fashion Show

Sometimes before our music class, we take a walk downtown with friends. Sometimes after music class we meet at the park for a picnic.

Today the weather was not very lovely, so we planned for neither. Which led to an impromptu fashion show on the steps outside after class.

Let the First Birthday Begin!

Gram and Grumpy came to visit for Mother's Day weekend and since BabySlimJim turns one on Wednesday we decided to start the celebrating early!

He wasn't too excited at first, preferring this cat toy to opening presents.

But it didn't take long before he realized what he was supposed to do.

And no birthday celebration would be complete without some sort of (weird gluten, dairy, egg, soy free) cake and singing!

The Loose Tooth

For a few weeks MiniM.E.'s top tooth has been pretty wiggly. Since her first two wiggly teeth were pulled at the dentist, I'm counting this as her first real wiggly tooth. It has been exciting for her because her two best friends had the same wiggly tooth.

HAD.

As of yesterday, MiniM.E.'s friends' teeth had fallen out and she was the only one left with her awful wiggly tooth.

And finally today, it came out!
