What's Been Going On

SlimJim found a new favorite activity that requires lots of towels, Baby4 had a couple bottles, we played outside, got staticky hair in the basement playroom, Metzger and Baby4 had a stare-off, SlimJim wore some stylish accessories to the TreePaad, we had lots of baby cuddles, and Baby4 started smiling, took a bath, and is holding his head up!

NH: The Weekend

The rest of the trip we played with the Prudence the kitten (and shared our treats)

Went for a few dips in the hot tub

Had a good time playing

Went out in the snow

Had some baby cuddles

And watched the squirrels

Bouncing and Running!

Since it's vacation week, we were also able to meet up with C & H while we are here in NH. We decided on the bounce house place at the mall because its huge and probably wouldn't be too busy if we got there right when it opened.

The kids had a blast until it got too crowded.

Then we left for ice cream! Poor SlimJim was worn out and fell asleep on the way, but ice cream was worth waking up for.

Visiting NH: The Amoskeag Fishways

Last week was school vacation week for kids in school around us. We chose to school straight through while making time to see our school friends since MiniM.E. rarely gets to spend time with her friends.

This week, we are in NH, even though it is their school vacation week, which makes a lot of the places we usually go in the winter VERY crowded. It does, however, lend itself to activities that wouldn't otherwise happen- like the crafts and critter show at the Amoskeag Fishways.

It was a small museum, but cute and interesting for a couple hours. We met a frog and a turtle and the girls did a few crafts while SlimJim pretended to be a fish on the kid fish ladder.

Bonus: it counts as school!!

A Winter Walk

We met up with friends today to take a walk at the Saratoga State Park. We thought it was going to be warm, but it was actually pretty chilly. Despite the cold weather, the kids were in good spirits and the big girls, especially, had a great time.
