Our first official homeschool field trip was today. We drove an hour out to Sand Flat Orchards. It was a beautiful farm, though the weather was far from lovely. Pouring when we arrived, but all the families decided to stick it out. Lucky we did, as the rain held off most of the day. We were able to do a corn maze, pick apples, take a hayride, and of course eat apple cider doughnuts!
Every mom should take a weekend away from all the mom duties once in a while. I spent the weekend in St. Albans, VT, reading, running, relaxing and refreshing.
While Mommy was away, Daddy and the kids had lots of time to play. I have no idea what happened over the weekend, but here are the pictures.
